Under the Bed

Under the bed,

A disturbing place,

I found an old pair of pants,

an old collection of ants,

An old pocket watch,

75 pairs of dirty socks,

Some rocks,

Did I mention a PIG?

Candy wrappers, 500 of ’em,

an umbrella from the beach,

a worm in a peach,

Oh, don’t forget the radio!

And the spaghettio–EW!

A microwave,

A mushy old sandwich,

And an over-fed hamster.

What my mother said–

“What a disturbing place!

You, young man, need to CLEAN!”

Christmas Vacation

In my Christmas vacation, I did a lot of things, and I will tell you some of them.  It was a two week vacation.

I love food, and we had a lot!  One thing was I had one whole box of Annie’s Mac ‘N Cheese for lunch.  I did that three times!

I loved opening presents.  It was so fun, full with happiness and lots of laughter.  One of the things my brother, sister, and I got was a new iPad.  We had an old one, and I mostly use the old one.  My brother mostly uses the new one, and my sister uses her phone most of the time.

One day of Christmas vacation, I got up, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw snow.  Tons!  I went in my living room.  I looked out of the window.  There was a huge blizzard!  I couldn’t wait!  I headed outside as soon as possible.  Wow!  There was so much snow.  I spent a lot of that day outside and did a lot of shoveling.  Later, we had way more snow.  It looked like we had shoveled nothing.  Our neighbor has a snow blower.  He offered to help my dad clear the snow off of the the huge driveway.  It must have been eight more inches!  That day was one of the best days.  We also got 20 inches of snow that day.  I built a snowman.

Some time in vacation, I also did a lot of filming.  I made stop motion with Legos.  I’ve done that for a while now.

Probably the best thing in vacation was being with family.  We Zoomed with our entire family, and I FaceTimed a lot with my cousin.  We had a huge Christmas dinner, sort of like our Thanksgiving dinner.  We did have turkey.  Also, we went to church.  We tried a different one.  It was the first time we had gone to a church in like a year!

It was a great Christmas vacation.

Who Would I Be in the Christmas Story?

If I was there.

If I was there and saw the star, I would go there as fast as possible.  I would put on nice clothes for Jesus.  I would tell my friends the other wise men to go as fast as I could.  I would say to Herod, “Yes, I will tell you where he it.”

But when I would get there, I would say to Joseph and Mary, “Get out of here!  Herod is coming!  Run to Egypt or another foreign country and hide!”

When I got to Baby Jesus, I would worship Him and give Him gifts.  When Herod died, I would come back to visit again.  I would also most important of all praise God.

I’m Talking Weird!

I’m Talking Weird!

(a thesaurus poem)

I’m talking weird!

I’m talking strange!

I’m talking freaky, funky!

I’m talking magical, mysterious, outlandish!

I’m talking secret, funny, curious, kooky!

I’m talking offbeat, peculiar, astounding, eccentric!

I’m talking WEIRD!

9 Ways to Protest Against Washing Dishes

9 Ways to Protest Against Washing the Dishes

Murmur to everyone to make some signs.

Wake your parents at 1:00 in the morning.

Yank them out of bed and into the streets.

Yell, “No washing the dishes!”

Join all the people yelling that with their signs.

Break the dishes and the sink.

Boobytrap the house with sticky gum and with wire tricks.

Lock everyone in the house and barricade the doors.

Tell everyone, “No washing the dishes!”

And there you have it.

No more washing the dishes for you.

One of My Heroes: Jimmy Carter

One of My Heroes:  Jimmy Carter

Jimmy Carter is one of my biggest heroes.  He is a kind person who wants to help a lot of people.  He travels a lot and builds houses for the poor.  I think he was one of the greatest Presidents of all America.  He won the Nobel Peace Prize!  He is very kind.  That’s why Jimmy Carter is my hero.
