I started gardening in 4-H when I was about your age, and I love to grow carrots too. Have you gotten any vegetables yet for your salads? We have only had lettuce, spinach, and radishes so far, but we hope the beans and squash will start this week.
In the summer when I was growing up, we had garden vegetable suppers several times each week, where we only had food from the garden that day. They were some of my favorite meals.
